Ian Dean is the Owner and General Manager of Shoot 360 Charlotte, where his purpose is to faithfully steward the opportunity God has entrusted to him by serving the Charlotte basketball community with excellence, equipping and challenging athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the court, and creating an environment where families feel welcomed, valued, and supported.

Basketball has been one of the greatest influences in Ian's life. After playing collegiate basketball at the NCAA Division III level, he discovered that his greatest passion wasn't just competing—it was teaching others and helping young athletes grow. For more than 20 years, he has coached players from the youth level through high school, building meaningful relationships while teaching the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to succeed both on and off the court. In addition to his work at Shoot 360, he continues to invest his time coaching AAU teams in the 2028 and 2030 classes.

Ian earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's degree in Education, and he brings more than two decades of senior executive leadership experience to Shoot 360 Charlotte. His background has shaped his belief that great organizations—and great teams—are built on trust, service, accountability, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

As the owner of Shoot 360 Charlotte, Ian is committed to providing the Charlotte basketball community with an experience that goes beyond traditional training. By combining world-class coaching, innovative technology, and a positive, high-energy environment, he strives to ensure every athlete who walks through the doors leaves with greater confidence, stronger skills, a deeper appreciation for the game, and the character to succeed in life.

Ian believes success isn't measured only by points scored or games won. It's measured by the habits athletes develop, the relationships they build, and the character they demonstrate every day. Whether working with a beginner learning the fundamentals or an elite player pursuing college basketball, his goal is to help every athlete maximize their God-given abilities while learning the values of discipline, perseverance, humility, teamwork, and servant leadership.

Ian and his incredible wife, Terra, have been married for more than 20 years and reside in Huntersville, North Carolina, with their three active children, ages 12, 14, and 16. As a husband, father, coach, and business owner, Ian understands the important role sports can play in shaping young people. His faith in and relationship with God and the unwavering support of his family are the foundation of his leadership and fuel his desire to serve others with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
