Mikalister played basketball throughout high school, where he earned All-Conference honors during his final two seasons and was named team MVP. He currently plays college basketball at Cleveland Community College (CCC). Alongside his playing career, he has been involved in coaching and player development since 2024, working as a personal trainer and helping run basketball camps and clinics for players of different ages and skill levels.

Mikalister works at Shoot 360 because of his passion for the game and his desire to help players improve. He enjoys being around basketball every day and takes pride in helping athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and become the best players they can be.
